OUR BEGINNING
Rev. Dr. Lynette and myself have been ministering our entire lives and pastored within the African Methodist Episcopal church for over 25 years. Our ministry has always been led by the Spirit, enveloped in the knowledge that we are purposed to do greater things, without limits. Emboldened to follow the call to remember and reclaim our divine power.
In September 2024 we left the traditional church and began the Spiritual Expansion Center. This church/ministry is about expansion on all levels of consciousness. We believe in a wholistic approach to ministry and caring for the mind, body, and spirit.
Our desire is for people to come into remembrance of their true selves. We are both Divine and human by nature. The Divine spark within each of us can be reawakened with time, practice, and belief.
It is our firm belief that we are created with everything we need to achieve our remembrance and that we are purposed to find the kingdom of Heaven within ourselves, and within the human collective (Luke 17:20-21).
Spiritual Expansion Center Inc, located in Kansas City, KS, is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization formally established in 2025 that focuses on spiritually-related activities. The Center aims to provide a safe space for spiritual growth and community engagement locally and globally. We hold Sunday Expansion Service and Wednesday evening Expansion Study via Zoom and in-person meetings. We welcome all who wish to find their true self and expand to their full potential.
